In carrying out our obligations to you we will be processing personal data. In order to comply with the legal obligations of the above Act we are required to enter into a written contract with you. Accordingly in respect of your data we warrant and undertake to:
- Access, obtain, record, hold, disclose, use, alter, delete erase, destroy only in accordance with your lawful instructions;
- Take appropriate and commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised or unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage;
- Provide to you such information regarding compliance with this clause as you may from time to time reasonably require and allow you to audit our performance and on reasonable notice allow you (or your representatives) access to our premises to ensure that we are complying with our obligations set out in this agreement;
- Allow you to monitor our use of your data, if you consider it appropriate, including the use of telephones and computers whilst carrying out our obligations under this agreement under normal working hours.
In addition to these obligations, we also adhere to the Direct Marketing Association Charters and Best Practice Guidelines concerning data privacy.
Similarly we adhere on your behalf and ensure that our work complies with the British Codes of Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing Practice, and the Advertising Authority guidelines. Finally, because we have obtained Royal Mail Quality in Mail Production Certification, we ensure that all work complies with, or exceeds, Royal Mail standards.
